One year on, I've done 6 sessions of chemo, 1 lumpectomy, 3 weeks radiotherapy and 18 sessions of Herceptin. I've responded well to all of it and as far as anyone can tell I'm clear of cancer. My breast is still sore to touch  and hard round the scar. I'm told it will' eventually' get less sore. In the mean time I should use ibruprophen gel and keep up with excercises. I'm also still wearing a soft support bra day and night as this feels more comfortable.

My hair is now short and curly not long and straight as it has been all my life. It looks great. I now look at my life as 'before and after'. I am a changed person now but still the same.  I have learned alot about myself and also other people around me. I would never have chosen this route to get here but I can say I like where I am now.
